Day 211: Lyla update....Ive been avoiding this update. Last Tuesday lyla was moved back to the NICU, she was put back on c-pap. As of this morning, she was intubated. They dont know what is causing her to fail...could be her chronic lung disease or her heart just working to hard to oxygenate her lungs. They are doing blood work, blood cultures and urine cultures-septic work up, putting her on antibiotics as a precautionary measure till her cultures come back. Please pray for our precious little fighter!!! We thank the team of drs, nurse practitioners and nurses who are taking care of her, she wouldnt be here without them and supporting us through this difficult time.
