Day 22 - a bit late: I am near tears tonight - thankful for things Im reading here on Facebook. Thankful that I was able to do my volunteer shift at KUMC today to help Miss Sheila and do a little something in return for God. Thankful that my sweet friend Ginger got perfect test results today at Duke University and that she and Rocky got home safely. Thankful for Angela Ridenour Roach, her sister and her daughters for their wonderfully busy lives and all the lives they touch. Thankful that my sister and Mike have gotten to cheer the Big Blacks on during this football season, despite all the things she has had to cope with. Thankful for healthy children and grandchildren. Thankful for all the Fallsburg people who love our little community and have worked so hard preparing for the Community Dinner tomorrow (please come and share with them!!) and planning for A Fallsburg Christmas. The list could go on and on, and my heart is so full. Yes, times are hard and we all have burdens to bear, but there is also SO MUCH to be thankful for. We often overlook our great blessings because one problem gets in the way. Thank you, God, for the many, many blessings You pour out on us each day, and forgive us for overlooking them.!
