Day 221: up at 6 to get breakfast for everyone before our busy day started...Rosel left at 7 w Kelly, Noah, Solamon. Jayne and Kelly to head to the Embassy to get Solomons passport and visa..thank u for all the prayer..they were to b there at 8 to get it and Jayne called me at 8:04 and said they had it in hand...Rosel took them to the airport and then came back home to get the Jac fixed..Pascal and I headed out at 10 to take Amber and Cory to the airport and then went to cash a check and get groceries..we got back at about 1...I put groceries away..Rosel headed to the market to get food..Pascal went to work in the school checking how many books we need to buy and getting what supplies we need to start making uniforms..we just have about 4 weeks till school starts up....I worked on my bible lesson and then headed down at 4 for bible study..tonight we read 1John 2:1-17..we looked at the following questions:Why is John writing this? How do we know that we know Jesus? What if we say we know Jesus but we disobey? What is the connection btw love and obedience? What is the condition of someone who hates his brother? what does hate do to our ablity to see? What should we not love? what r examples of the world? What is the reason we should not love the world?....I was very happy to see every come back w their prayer journals and most showed me how they had written in them last night and some were taking notes as I taught...I had them write to questions down to reflect on tonight...is there anyone you are holding hate for in your heart? is there anything of the world that u put above your relationship w God?...we are going into our 2 days of fasting starting tomorrow... kids are fasting in different ways...some are giving up listening to their music or playing marbles and some are giving up food in some way...please b prayer for them and that they hear what God is speaking to them....again we would love for u to join us in this time of drawing closer and seeking God....
