Day 226: Raven is doing so-so today. Her oxygen is at 38% on the sipap up from 36% yesterday. Since Raven is getting so big, they had to go to a different mask/machine. She is still receiving the same amount/kind of support, the only difference is the mask. This mask covers her entire face unfortunately, with no room for even a paci, which is miss Ravens best friend along with her teddy lovey. I have attached a couple pictures, they arent the best quality, but I will post better ones tomorrow, I just wanted everyone to get an idea of what the mask looks like. They made no changes today except going to this mask. She will have to wear this mask until she gets her trach(probably November, since she has to be symptom free from the cold for a month). The good news is she hasnt had a fever today, so that is progress. Her oxygen needs do keep rising though. Other than that, everything is still the same.
