Day 23: im thankful that fairytales can still come true......if well just believe. LORAS VERSION OF HOW SHE AND JACOB MET...AWWW! It was my first year of church camp. My friend lied and said I liked him cause she felt bad for him. So I hid in the bathroom cause he was standing outside the door. Then I walked out he said at least let me sign ur shirt. So I let him sign. So wakey at thirteen years of age bent down behind me and signed it right above my butt about where my hip would be with his phone number. The next day was the day we left and he was lookin for me so after dismissal I darted for my car and I was thankful to be gone. I didnt come back to camp the next year cause I didnt wanna run into him!! I thought he would be gone the year after that. Well he wasnt. That incident in the camp bathroom was when I was 12 he was 13. The picture in his room of me when I look really young was from him asking my friend to go in the bathroom where I was hiding and take my picture. And she did it. I was soo mad at them. And I knew who he was when i saw him soI was avoiding him. I never officially met him til two years later at camp. Before we started dating I realized that he wanted to be with me then and he still wants to be with me now and he wont stop trying. He told me I was beautiful when I was 12 and then he said the same thing when I was 15 and that he really meant it and wasnt giving up. I wasnt gonna talk to him after that either bathroom incident but Shannon made me go back two years later and find him and talk to him. I dont lie when I say this boy stalked me I always make fun of him for how he signed my shirt. He bent down grabbed my hip and signed way too low. He always said Its ok. I knew you were my wife, so it didnt matter. Even though weve never been out alone, after being THAT persistent I knew he was worth my time. So here we are 3 1/2 years later about to walk down the isle and become one. I get to marry my best friend who I LOVE AND ADORE! Lora I remember when he met her at Wintervention in Columbia. She was 11 years old. He didnt really meet her he just saw her from a distance, playing board games. He got on the elevator and told me, Dawn Bynum and Jordan that God had just told him he had met his wife and that was her. We just laughed... Hmmmm
