Day 23 of Ramadan, with the grace of Allah - Mousaada with the help of all of you was able to provide Iftar to ALL of the Burmese/Rohingan Muslims in the Camp Road Detention Centre (MITA). For Iftar they where provided with their own cultural food which where prepared by some special Burmese/Rohingan members of our community, Jzk Khyar. They had prepared and cooked food for 2 days, May Allah swt reward them with the highest of rewards consisting of 8 different traditional dishes and a coconut jelly dessert. Everyone (including us and other ppl in the detention center) were very pleased to be eating dishes that they havent had for quiet some time or since the last Ramadan. Also from the Barakah they where able to take plenty left over food with them to their rooms. We were also able to provide them with 3 Burmese/English Dictionaries & 12 prayer mats, dates, bananas and 9 containers of sliced mangos! We were also able to provide the detention center with a bag of wool from our Wool for Winter Campaign May Allah reward you all. Your donations always go a long way (no matter how large or small the amount is). With the grace of Allah, the more you continue to donate the more we are able to support, feed and help the Muslim Community wherever they may be in the World!
