Day 24 of our 60 Day Prayer Challenge. You know when you have approached maturity in an area when you can use Adverse Situations or comments to fuel your passion instead of allowing them to spin you off like a top. Such is the case for my topic today. Actually, it is another commenters’ comment to something that I said the other day that reminded me of something in a “special ministry program” of which I was the Director of several years ago. In addition to so many people talking about what someone said in a “sound bite”, I felt this needed to be shared. My Post: August 29 Daddy God is loving on me tonight to be sure...I am His favorite daughter....(haha)not really but I sure do feel like it. Thank you Daddy for wrapping your arms around me... — feeling blessed. Posted Comment: Thats got to be the creepiest thing Ive heard anyone call a god. August 29 I could have allowed that comment to “Spin me Off” as if I had to DEFEND GOD, or I could allow it to show me and possibility others – Where people are coming from. Whenever (haha…in the past several years anyway, I am still a work in progress remember), I receive what appears to be a Negative comment to something that I have said or done the first thing I do is to find “Their Truth” in what they are saying. Such was the case with the comment that was made on my posting. It reminded me of when I was in this “special ministry” program. A young woman told me after a service one morning, “I have been involved with a satanic cult and they tell you that you are giving your life and service to satan; now you are telling me to HAND OVER my life to this person called Jesus. What’s the difference?” she asked, then she went on to say; “I have seen what happened to my life when I Handed it over to something or someone, you end up losing yourself, and becoming a zombie of sorts to that something or someone, and I am trying to clean up my life, not create more chaos in it.” My response to her that morning was: I am only showing and telling you about an option that is available to you, and WHEN your time comes to make that decision, only you will know when it is the right time to answer Jesus’ call on your life. The satanic cult that you were involved demanded complete compliance or suffer the consequences, correct? To which she answered “yes”. I told her that she didn’t have to make that decision for her life at this moment, just please continue to listen to my teachings, demonstrations, and testimonials, and continue to be “honest with me” about what she was thinking about all the new stuff that she was hearing. I cannot tell you how THANKFUL I am that someone feels completely at ease enough to share his or her TRUE inner feelings on a topic. Such was the case the other day to my posting. Based on the Law of Love and not coercion, manipulation, or control, let us ALL listen and hear what the commenter said the other day; “Thats got to be the creepiest thing Ive heard anyone call a god.” So too, I say; I hope the commenter continues to be “Honest With Me” about what he or she is thinking about all the new stuff that they are hearing, because you are actually teaching me more and more about the Love of my Heavenly Father, whom I call Daddy. And I pray that I and others continue to have that willingness to hear and listen to what others say as “Their Truth”.
