Day #25 of 80 Day Prayer Chain Prayer Item - Pray that our coming president understands the concept of stewardship, that he as well as cabinet are stewards/caretakers/managers (not owners) working on behalf of God for the welfare of His people. - Pray that he creates an environment for citizens to exercise personal stewardship in all areas of life. Point of concern We have seen the ruling party at their General Conference over the last two days operate under very tense conditions, coupled with what seems like a locked down process from whom no one seems to agree. Yesterday afternoon Hon Edgar Lungu was elected unopposed but conspicuously absent was the Acting President Guy Scott and all the other candidates. We then got reports (not sure if confirmed as at the posting of this status) that the elections have been deemed illegal. It looks like we are yet to see more drama unfold within the PF. In the meantime the other major parties have launched their campaigns despite some having candidate legitimacy issues as well. Saints, let us pray that in spite of all this, no blood is shed in Jesus name. That whoever is causing confusion shall be put to shame. That we command FIRE upon that spirit which brings confusion and that there may be CHAOS in the enemys camp (whoever they are) in Jesuss name! Keep praying - Zambia shall prevail!
