Day 26 Exodus 2:11-25, 3 Matthew 17:10-27 Psalm 22:4-18 Proverbs 5:7-14 S: Exodus 3:2 There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. O: Often times I ask God to present me with a burning bush. I think, God if you would just pop down and shake my hand and introduce yourself having faith in you would be so much easier! A: For we live by faith and not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7. I need to live by the innate sense of faith, love, and grace that dwells within me. I am to live a life for the invisible reward of heaven and all its splendor, not for the visible things of this life that will come and go. I need to have blind faith to be able to see the light of the burning bush. If I do not have strong faith then how can I expect the Lord to call upon me? P: Dear Lord, I pray that you will continue to soften my sin scarred heart and slowly make me new again. Heal my pain and lift me from my anxieties. I am broken and damaged but in my faith I will be restored and made new again. Help me to not allow sin to tarnish my new glow and allow me to lead others to you by my example of blind faith. Amen.
