Day 26: Today I am very grateful for the kindness of my calculus teacher!!! She brought in cookies for everyone today because we finished the AP curriculum (and we took a picture were we posed our cookies like champagne glasses ;P). Shes pretty amazing and fun like that! She knew I was vegan so she went out an bought me some of the most delicious banana chocolate chip vegan cookies i have ever had!!! Its amazing that shed do that for me! Bringing me vegan desserts isnt even an expectation I have from my family, let alone my teacher!!! It was the sweetest gesture!!! And it completely turned my day around. I was having a fairly hard day before calc class, and was seeking for something to change my mood and make me happy! She completely turned my day around and made me SO HAPPY!!!! Her kindness and care towards my needs and wants is so so so touching!!!! I love how conscientious she is, in every way! She is one of the best teachers Ive had and so committed to her work! She had to take a week off of school and was so upset about it, because it messed up her class planning!! She truly enjoys teaching, and i think thats part of the reason we love her class so much (and cos shes absolutely brilliant at her work!) And as always, immensely grateful for my friends who once again brightened my day (as they do all day, every day) and got me writing in my gratitude journal again! They brought up my journal in class, which reminded me and enticed me to write in it regularly again! i love their thoughtfulness so much!!!! I LOVEEEEEE my friends like crazy!!! Finally, I am very grateful for my adviser! She is the sweetest person - always smiling!! She made us look at the goals we made in January and assess our progress. That was when I was reintroduced to my goal of writing in my gratitude journal, which is part of the reason I am writing today! She is such a great support and so caring, even though shes just been my adviser for a few months!!! Adviser really feels like a family!
