Day 28. As the children prepare to leave, many host families feel a deep sense of loss. Over the past month, these precious children have truly become a part of their family. It is difficult to describe the loss that they feel to others who have never hosted. Other families have had a difficult hosting and are breathing a sigh of relief as this intense time comes to an end. They grieve in a different way for their children and the experience that they have had. Pray for these families, that they would feel supported in their journey, and that they would be able to express their emotions to others and felt heard. Pray that others would be raised up around them to cover them with encouragement and care as they reach the end of this season.
