Day #29 - Men of Honour Dont act like they know it all! Even with all the degrees a got at university!! I will never make if I know it all!! For example - (1) My parents - being a child your parents gives you advice and we all think that we know it all already. They have so much life experience to share - Listen and give them a chance to speak. I promise you - you dont know it all! All children think they know it all when having discussions with your parents from the age 13 - 60. How many of us thought we know more than your parents and we had to go back and saying sorry you where right, please help me fix it. (2) Myself and a fashion stylist - I always think I know what to wear and I went back to her and I admitted that she was right and we had a laughing #selfie! (3) Listening to a nurse and learn from her and taking in. (4) Interview with Morne JK of Jacaranda - As I got questions I thought to myself to give a textbook answer - Thats trying to know it all - but I relaxed and answered him as I will answer any other person. He gave me so much advice - I could use it of thing I know better. I took his advice as he know his industry. (5) My biggest eye opener was a little boy Jordan - we as humans dont know it all - yes we act like it. By laying on a hospital bed with a child that has cancer and he is telling you a story even if you know more about the story and not saying - and taking as much out of the moment. Thats act in a why that you dont know it all. Jordan that is 4 taught me more that I could remember in Biology class grade 8 & grade 9. I learnt from a 4 year old boy - What the word Life means in his own way. (6) A good friend and business man Jaco Gerrits - even having 4 degrees I will never try to show any that I know more because I dont I learn every day - in fact we both are not acting that we Know it all. We learn so much from each other. Last but not the least - dont act like a know it all people dont like it. If you good in your field - sit down with them and ask them to share their thoughts with you and give advice in a why that you not showing you know a lot. At the end by have a lot of knowledge is not a bad thing - the BAD thing is the way you react, the way you come across and your attitude!! Dont try and correct everyone!!
