Day 29 - Water - This is the Clarence Cannon Dam in Ralls County Missouri. Ron likes to stop by the dam whenever we are in the area because this is where his Dad worked for many years, helping to build the dam. This dam pumps 5,400,000 gallons of water per minute and produces 58,000 of power. Enough power to supply 20,000 people with power. Water is a powerful element. Our own existence depends on water..... We dont worry about water in our daily lives, when we turn on the faucet water comes out. In biblical times ,where you would get water was part of their daily lives. Maybe this is why water is mentioned 722 times in the bible. It is first mentioned in Genesis and last in Revelations. Water is used many times as a purification or spiritual reference. John 7:37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scriptures has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of the living water. ...... After reading these devotions today, I think I am appreciating water and its meaning a little bit more.
