Day 29 – A Kingdom Man Is a Hero Batman had the ultimate array of crime-fighting tools and gadgets, plus a loyal sidekick. Spider-Man had his webs and acrobatic abilities. Captain America was the peak of human performance with a patriotic mission. But none of them was mightier than Superman. Superman had it all: flight, strength, speed, x-ray vision, and a moral compass unwavering from justice. As a schoolboy, I wanted to be Superman. I wanted a life that brought good to others, fought the bad guys, rescued the weak, and captured Lois’s heart with every adventure. Superman was not from this earth. And, kingdom man, neither are you! Scripture states clearly that you have been seated with Christ in the heavenly realm (Ephesians 2:6). Because of this, you operate with a kingdom set of rules backed by kingdom authority that has the power, when used correctly, to transform your ordinary life into an extraordinary one. That means more than being a great football player, a great businessman, a successful community leader, or a wealthy individual. Being a kingdom man involves being the hero who aligns himself under the headship and authority of Jesus Christ so he can fully access the power and authority of Jesus Christ to positively influence and impact everything and everyone within his realm. Men, model yourself after the greatest Kingdom Man of all who over two thousand years ago rescued a world in distress. Application: 1. What superpower do you wish you had? 2. What wrong do you need to right? 3. How can you follow Christ and bring aid or justice to those in your realm today? Prayer: Father, I am a broken, imperfect man without You. Fill me with Your power and the wisdom to use it. Amen! #TeamJMoore #AKingdomMan
