Day 3 - Thankful! Today I am full of thankfulness for having the opportunity of being in Ministry with God! I am thankful for His presence at our Church Anniversary and Family & Friends Celebration. I am thankful to EVERYONE who came out and fellowshiped with us and made it a success. A big thank you to Pastor Elijah Pullings and his 1st Lady for being very attentive to our needs and allowing us to use their beautiful church facilities. It truly felt like a place of worship when you walked through the doors. To our church family I cant love you anymore than I already do. Your tenacity and hunger for Gods word is what keeps the Ministry alive. Your faithfulness will be rewarded. Thank you for your participation on the program which contributed to its success. A special thank you to Cora Arthur and Mary Ann Burton for your heartfelt testimonies. While others might question or debate Gods word with you, something they cant takeaway is your testimony. I love you both dearly. My supportive Uncle George W. Ward and my Auntie Delores...thank you, thank you, thank you! The financial relief you afforded us is immeasurable. We love you to pieces for it! Thank you to Melinda James and Derron James for helping with the mac and cheese and putting your foot in that curry chicken. To Carletha Howard for the food you prepared. Kimberly Pompey, I can NEVER EVER stop thanking you for passing on your anointing to our children. ..our babies. The performances really blessed me and everyone that was present. To Tara Woods thank you for stepping in. You made a huge difference for ME! To Pastor Leon Lavelle Thomas Sr. & his 1st Lady, Alfreda S Wheeler and the other church family at New Horizon Community Worship Center, we thank you for your support. Grace Fowler you were a tremendous help and I thank you! Margaret Gary the dining hall was beautiful. Thank you for providing an atmosphere of comfort for our guests. Thank you Minister Curtis Jones for supporting my husband in his vision for the Church. And lastly, my husband and Pastor... Darrell Tolbert...you inspire me to be a better person. I love you for letting God use you. Only you and God know the sacrifices you make for your church family and His Ministry. Its my pray that He will continue to use you mightily! Like the song said last evening...GRACE AND FAVOR are upon you in unimaginable ways. Continue to seek God and let him guide you in His will for L-Jireh Ministries.
