Day 3. On the last day before the (human) man of the house returns, Gus deemed it necessary to 1) try to start a knock down, drag out dog fight with the neighbor pooch through the fence a midnight 2) yak twice on the living room carpet quietly enough so it was a big, awful surprise to find it 3) take things from around the house and move them when I wasnt looking to make me think I was totally crazy and finally 4) wake me up three times last night with insanely viscous snarling and barking at...absolutely nothing (which, of course, was only confirmed after I investigated the entire house with my weapon of choice and with my thumb poised over the 911 speed dial). I guess its good to know hes ready to rip the face off imaginary boogeymen? Exhausted from his overly-taxing shift on night watch hes been in this position pretty much all day perfecting his fish-breath-lazy-whine every time I accidentally disturb him. #jabroney #cabinfever #nowpoppasproblem #freshoutofsympathy
