Day 3..... Spoke with Mom a few minutes ago... Dad is doing well, but in a lot of pain today. Had a shower, and a long walk earlier, and they removed his pacemaker as his heart is doing fine.....but, those events wiped him out. Still has his mediport, and theyve started him on Lasix to help him get rid of fluid. Hes still puffy from the fluids they pumped in during the surgery, but not nearly as much as yesterday. Hes resting for now....but, theyll have him up again later in the day. Hell be where he is, in the step down unit, for today and tomorrow at least.... He did ask that any visitors whod like, please come after 2 in the afternoon..... Thanks, again, for your support and kind thoughts and prayers.
