Day 3: There was a lot to write about day 3 but one thing, actually one person makes everything else not so important ! Amelia Sheahan has been with us for several years now. She was the one with me on the way out here. I was so relieved that I was able to throw her bag out to safety before the fire took it as its own. I was glad that it was only my stuff that burned. Yesterday it was brought to my attention that she did not bring just one bag. She had a few! Her shoes, sweatshirts, her blanket and pillow, phone charger... (Im sure more). Not once has she said anything about these belongings! She helped me take care of Rilee and crockpot thru it! Instead of saying anything She just made a list of the things she needed to get! The most amazing part of this to me is that both of our hands are burned and blistered from trying to grab and throw things out of that trailer! That means she was grabbing my things first! Before she got her own belongings out! I am beyond words on how to express the feelings I have towards her and what she did for me! And continues to do for me on a daily basis as an employee and a friend! Thank you Amelia! Thank you for standing beside me thru this! I dont deserve what you have given to me over the years! I am so thankful for you! I hope that I can repay your loyalty and love!
