Day +3 Today has had some ups and downs. Overall, Julian - TopicsExpress

Day +3 Today has had some ups and downs. Overall, Julian continues to do very well. He is doing things that many children are not at this point...taking some food and meds orally, no scheduled pain meds, and he is up out of bed and playing much of the day. The biggest issue today remains belly pains. Some of this is nausea, but I think the bigger issue is lower GI issues and some diarrhea. They are testing for C-Diff, and it would not shock me if it comes back positive. The one good thing about that would be that Julian can take medication for it that should help get him feeling a little better. He vomited once today for the first time since Friday. It was right after his evening meds. They ordered new meds, and he was able to get them down taking about 1ML every 5 minutes so that he would not gag on them. Despite these recent issues, Julian is doing very well. The pictures are from some play time with Daddy and Julian doing one of his favorite hospital past times, sticking stickers! Please continue prayers for Julians wonderful progress and for 100% engraftment. Praise and glory to God! The Andrews
