Day 3 and my poor boy Boss is still lame. He can hardly stand on his right front. But he has such a sweet personality, that yesterday when he was lying in his sand run, that he let me put a drawing salve and duct tape on his hoof and then a medicine boot to keep it on. This morning he was covered in shavings from sleeping in his stall. I hope my farrier is right and this abcess comes out of the heel bulb very soon.
