Day 3 comin at you: It’s time to come up with some goals. I’m talking REAL goals here, not this ‘lose fat,’ ‘gain muscle,’ and ‘feel better’ garbage. In order to stick to goals and achieve them, they must be SMART - Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely. SMART goals give you tangible parameters to restrict your goals to, so that it is clear whether or not you have reached the goal. Applying SMART to the garbage goals above, I get: “I want to lose 7% body fat, gain 20 lbs of muscle, and have my doctor tell me that I am physically healthy in the next 12 months.”
