Day 3 done! An awesome day of variety! The morning swim in Lake Taupo was so so cold! But after a hot soup and riding in the sun I warmed up. Sunny ride to Ketetahi carpark. The run over the Tongariro Crossing was just amazing!!! Thanks for all the prayers that we would be able to get across. Then the last 55k back on the bike was a mixed affair; We started in pouring icey rain 6k down the gravel to SH47; We couldnt feel our hands. However after 30k we rode back into the sun and arrived into Ohakune very happy and ahead of schedule. :) Big thanks to Paul & Clark for Tomorrow is just a ride. The schedule has us riding to Palmy, however we might push on a little past to make Sunday mornings ride a little shorter :-)
