Day 3 of Mpls trip: so camped out for the nite, starting about 10:30pm last nite near Phillipsburg, MT; bout 12:15am heard some noise outside the van, peeked out the window, and heres a semi - in the car only area of the rest stop - and not only is he there, but hes parked about 30 feet from the side of my van, with the engine RUNNING!; but, managed to fall back asleep; bout 1:30am - his noisy semi woke me up again - managed to fall back asleep again; bout 2:30am - same story - except this time couldnt get back to sleep, so got up. 29F; 3:35am: crossed the MT/ND border; 5:20am - crossed in to CDT; 7:00am - nap time! 9:15am - on the road again; 10:05am - arrived at my cousin Gails house in Bismarck, ND - will be here til Thurs morning. So, basically, Im about 3/4 day ahead of schedule ...
