Day 3 of the Cluster was very interesting to say the least. She got her Excellent FAST Q and that was her title - three Excellent FAST tries and 3 Qs - on to Masters FAST. Thanks to NADAC for the distance work... :) Standard - I didnt support the jump after the table so she got a refusal - bad momma :) but then it got REALLY interesting..... did the line beautifully to the tunnel - nailed the DW to the chute - just as she came out of the chute heading to the poles - a BIG dog in the next ring slammed the tunnel (same course) before their DW and she went into OVERDRIVE!!! Her brain couldnt even think about the weaves - she was sooo intense on getting in the other ring it was unbelievable!!! To her credit her recall was AWESOME - every time I called her to try to get her in those poles she went right back to the ringside so to totally defuse the situation I just picked her up. For those that know me I dont usually pick her up unless shes been really bad but I needed to step in and stop the issue before it got out of hand. Needless to say she did get told she was a good girl and got her hotdogs. If anyone sees Jessica Scavetta Aniskoff (Lara Dudzic Avery) - youll have to ask her just how good she was for her recall to come back. Jumpers was not a course for her - weavepoles were obstacle #2 and I couldnt get up there to support the 2nd pole so we got a couple of refusals there but she did get them on the 3rd try. Then she had a couple of refusals cuz again she was flying and decided to just check in with me (which after the standard run was fine with me). Again, thanks to the Wizard of Paws crew for lasering Kaedence again this morning. Ill see you on Wednesday afternoon. Congrats to Lara on her OTCH with Tenten!!! Hopefully I wont be too tired to get to class tomorrow night (after 4 days at the Cluster)....
