Day 3 of the five song challenge and this one is simply the best cover version ever made in my humble opinion. A Joni Mitchell song made into a rock anthem by the brilliant Nazareth with whom I had a close encounter in Dunstable once upon a time when myself and three others went to see them at the now defunct Queensway Hall. We pitched up at a pub wearing, gasp, jeans and the landlord was about to eject us when the band, who were in there having a couple of pre-gig sharpeners, rescued us. They then invited us backstage during the interval and afterwards and were really lovely guys so I am delighted to include this in my favourite five.
