Day 30: Due to a lack of clean eating utensils and time I purchased breakfast from the base camp canteen this morning. Afterwards I attended morning briefing, in which I completed creation of a visual object for presentation, despite difficulties with the required software package. During the break I returned to the briefing manual depository and purchased the required manuals for my program. I investigated a local burrito supply warehouse for lunch, and then completed afternoon briefings. During these briefings I performed an emergency arachnid extraction, removing the animal from the premises for the peace of mind of humans and the arachnid in question. After briefings were completed and I had unloaded my supplies at home base I set out to run an errand and then explored the hobby supply depot and two nearby used book resale facilities. Desirables were purchased at the hobby depot, but at none of the other facilities. After returning home I prepared and consumed rations, worked on secondary objectives, and participated in a long duration video conference with HQ. Unfortunately irritation to my throat appears to indicate possible presence of an illness, so I am taking precautions to combat it however possible.
