Day 300: One tough day... Im usually skeptical about the way we say someone is an inspiration once theyre dead & gone but today I attended the funeral of someone who truly was an absolute inspiration. Kari-Lee wasnt defined by her illness & didnt sit around feeling sorry for herself. Instead, she packed her years full of amazing experiences in the knowledge that she might not have as many years as everyone else. I do believe shes at peace now but I still think theres something innately wrong in having a child leave for heaven before their parents. Im grateful for the reminder to make my life count in the time that I have here but my eyes are sore & red at the thought of the pain my friend Rhyl Venning must be experiencing right now. God bless.
