Day 31 in the NICU. Today is my 1 month birthday. I know Mom already told youall that. I just wanted to say thank you for all the birthday wishes. I have lots of good news today. First, I am 2 pounds, 5 ounces. I have picked up weight all this week. Next, I am now 14 inches long. Yep, Im growing big and strong. Then, they turned my oxygen down to 23 and Im doing pretty good with it. Dr came in to see me today, like she always does. She said that I am getting an eye exam on Tuesday, so say a prayer for me. I guess when your on oxygen as a baby, sometimes you can have issues. Can you please say a prayer for me that my eyes are perfect and that I have no detachment. Thank you so much. My head and brain ultrasound came back, it was negative for any brain bleeds or abnormalities, which made Mommy and Daddy happy. O and guess what???? Mommy changed my diaper for the very first time, thanks to Linda George who told Mama that I wouldnt hurt her and showed Mama the ropes and not to be scared. Well, Mama did a great job and Im still in one piece! Today has been a great day!!! Im thankful for all of the love, support and prayers you have given me and my family.
