Day 313. Almost sunset. I cannot even describe how poorly built this stucco fence wall is. Someday though, the pseudo culture around us will have to stop building things out of cheap materials using unskilled labor. We were not called upon to replace, only stabilize and repair. But how to lift, tip and reset a ton and a half of fallen and leaning stucco fence wall? Scaffold gantry, chain hoist, load strap sling and whaler bracing...thats how! Like a glove baby... We are going to pour two dead man piers and refasten the framing, blend patch the stucco and that will do it. Worst part is carrying everything 125 yards one way... This is a look into my dayjob, something which is always challenging and fun for me. Except the paperwork... I am.glad to have interesting work. Yesterday, in a moment of weakness, I said something about just going back into the box, living like everyone else...not because I dont like be free, just because sometimes people make it a huge hassle to be free. Mental slavery is more accepted and encouraged in the quasi civilization. Brenda cut me short, reminded me about all of you guys... So, think about that. Each of you inspire me to keep living a life of choices, living life as art... You all me get busy living instead of getting busy dying! My love and gratitude for that. Thank you.
