Day 34 Of Our District Fasting And Prayer Programme Topic: Wisdom Is Required, Be Wise! Text: ‘Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom and in all your getting, get understanding. Exalt her, and she will promote you; she will bring you honour, when you embrace her. She will place on your head an ornament of grace; a crown of glory she will deliver to you.”’ Proverbs 4:7-9 Prayer Points: 1. O Lord, I thank You for Your Spirit of wisdom, understanding and of knowledge that has been deposited upon my life, in the name of Jesus. 2. We thank You our God because it is You who gives wisdom to all liberally and without reproach, in the name of Jesus. 3. Lord, I ask for forgiveness, where I have leaned on my own understanding in my walk and works with You in the past, in Jesus’ name. 4. Father, I ask for Your mercy on me, for every rash decision that I have made in life, due to lack of wisdom in the name of Jesus. 5. The fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. O Lord, reinforce me with the Spirit of the fear of the Lord, in order to set my heart on the path of righteousness, in Jesus’ name. 6. By the Spirit of wisdom, Joseph escaped the snare of the devil. O Lord, let Your wisdom prevail for me in the time of temptation, and not to derail in my Christian journey with You, in the name of Jesus. 7. I receive the Spirit of God in wisdom to break free from every spiritual bondage to sin, in Jesus’ name. 8. O Lord, Daniel was wise not to defile himself in a foreign land due to Your excellent Spirit upon him; therefore, I reject every evil and foolish offer for defilement, in the lives of my children, in the mighty name of Jesus. 9. Isaac was wise to stay on course, and to stand on Your promises in the time of famine; therefore, O Lord help me to apply the heavenly wisdom in this trying period, in Jesus’ name. 10. I reject the spirit of error, and of foolishness that can bring me down from the exalted position You have placed me in the name of Jesus. 11. I reject every unwise counsel that will plunge my life into total chaos, in the name of Jesus. 12. O Lord, enlighten my spiritual eye of understanding for divine solution, to every mystery and hardship surrounding my life in the name of Jesus. 13. O Lord, that great height that You have purposed for me, let Your Spirit of wisdom sustain me there in the name of Jesus. 14. O Lord, don’t let it be too late for our children and children’s children, before they start to love and embrace Your wisdom for their upliftment in Jesus’ name. 15. O Lord, I desire divine wisdom for supernatural break-through in all areas of my endeavours. Therefore release it upon my life right now in Jesus’ name. 16. Gracious God, thank You for granting me wisdom to tread the route to greater heights in Jesus’ mighty name. Remain blessed!
