Day 36: Record scratch sound cue Wait didnt you say earlier this was day 29? Youre right I did. However, when I came into work tonight I learned thats not the case. Thanks to my co-workers and I do thank them for this, Ive been wrong the whole time how long Ive been working straight. I havent had a day of since September 26th! This was shortly after our Bikefest weekend here in Piqua where things went to hell and back. The first co-worker quit that Monday of that week. Then me and my wife had an appointment on Thursday, were at the time the other co-worker on nights closed for me. That appointment wound up being canceled and Jen and I spent the day together. I havent realized that that was the last day we have spent together as the weekend of the 26th, that co-worker called off as she was sick, brought in a note on that Sunday for the boss and wound up quitting the following Monday. That weekend if I wasnt closing I was working short shift. That Monday I worked both short shift and closing as the second co-worker had quit without any warning to me or others. Somewhere in all this mess I lost a full week. I have no memory of it. Its no secret Ive been going through the motions of work and life. Thank god Monday is fast coming so I can hopefully get my head back on straight. Still counting today THREE DAYS TO GO!
