Day 39: I am grateful - to be making this list on such a historic day. 1. I am no longer a second class citizen in the State where I was born, raised, have settled and am raising my daughter. 2. We do not have to shop jobs based on who offers domestic partner benefits. 3. I will not have to go through some difficult cross state attempt to be legally named as the parent to my child. 4. My child will receive benefits if I die before she is grown, and my wife gets an automatic dispersion from my estate (such as it is LOL) 5. Love wins.
