Day 4, BASIC Fellowship. Francis Chan - The Church isnt a building. “Church Isnt a Potluck” –Francis ~my family and i took an account of our relationship and decided that we need to do more… From that moment it seems that we started ever so little making it complicated, but it needs to be simple and spontaneous… my enemy at times is perfection and i started feeling withdrawn from the whole idea because it wasn’t simple… i shared my concerns with my Wife and she reaffirmed the whole processes of keeping it simple and then we shared with our Daughters about keeping it simple and spontaneous… The enemy will be, how will we keep it simple and not a potluck. We came to the conclusion of just making announcement (come) and whosoever comes will be simple enough. Further evaluation of the issues of real Fellowship or the lack there of is because people do not like being exposed. Exposing their past that lead them to Christ. So, as for myself i mentioned to my Daughters that i will feel free to expose not so much what has lead me to Christ, but in five minutes or so, share my/our struggles and how God has been faithful. Let’s call them, The Good, The Bad and the Glorious.
