Day 4 (Dads day :) ) Early start as Dean and Eve are always awake early so wanted to make the most of it so they were ready at 8am to take the dog with me to a local country park called Loggerheads. Its is such a beautiful place and only 5minutes away from. Eve took her Mums old phone as she wanted to take some pictures of plants to draw (dont ask! lol), she took some pics but also this video which she took sideways but please try and view it and it makes me smile, hopefully you too! So back home in time for both Dean and Eve to see some friends at a local play scheme (10-12), they were pretty tired already after this but we did talk earlier about taking our bikes out to a local BMX track and park which wasnt straight forward as Deans bike needed a puncture fixing before we could go out! This was actually quite cool as instead of getting a new inner tube I wanted to show them how we did fix a puncture old school with a tub of water and a repair kit, which went down pretty well, after wrestling with our 3 bikes to get them on the car bike rack!! (why does no kids bike have a straight forward frame to make it easy to put on ARRGGHH!!) Once we got to the park it was ace, think they enjoyed me trying to chase them, great little track and then...........................................................WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, yes it was Dean bawling his eyes out as crashed and fell over!!! Nice bit of gravel rash and a bit of Dads first aid and off again, never really modycuddle Dean as he would simply of not got on his bike again! 5 minutes later he was racing again. Anyways after finishing the racing I managed to put the bikes on the rack in record time to go home :) (how chuffed was I with that!) Usually on a Thursday night it is Judo for them both but Dean wasnt keen as his knee would hurt plus in between he fell asleep (see previous post picture) so commonwealth games and a dvd in bed it is, a real fun packed day for all of us. #makingthemostofthisbeautifulday
