Day 4, Lahore, Pakistan - Our visit gets increasingly productive (and busy) as the week goes on, with an early morning interview on TV1 in Lahore, followed by a meeting on business opportunities and investments in Pakistan, presentations and discussions with members of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (pictured above with LCCI President Engr. Sohail Lashari), discussions with some incredible entrepreneurs and business leaders all very interested in doing business in the United States, and finally a follow up interview for the entire delegation on the evening news out of Karachi. The only way to top off such a busy day was a fabulous party put on by my host family (our entire delegation is staying in the homes of our now good friends here) complete with authentic cuisine and Qawali music. What an evening! (I will post some of the music later.) It is the first time in a long time I have closed down a party. Enjoying Pakistan, the culture, and especially the people, immensely, and am very much looking forward to building on these relationships to take advantage of the opportunities for business and collaboration that exist between Delaware and Lahore.
