Day 4: Marrying a One Night Stand. I will preface this writing with a blanket statement that this has nothing to do about holy Matrimony. Many of us make lasting even lifelong friendships with persons who should have been there only for a moment or an event. We constantly mistaking linguini for tapeworm on a plate. Tapeworms that sucks the life and vision out of us. I would have no friends that to have people in my life only for what value they can take from me. Father this part of the cleanse I find hardest of all. Many of the people I am going to ask you to remove from my life are not at all strangers to me. Many of them I have grown to love and have become used to. But they gotta go Father. Many of them I have not even invited, but they saw the value for themselves. Father I ask you to make my heart cold towards them. Give me strength in this day to turn my back on them so that my anointing will not be lost. My energies not depleted and the time that your ministry requires would be freed up in my life. I ask you to begin this cleansing process now in no other name but the name of Jesus!
