Day 4: #favscripture Exodus 12:12-15 (NKJV) 12 ‘For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord. 13 Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. 14 ‘So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance. 15 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that person shall be cut off from Israel. Who/What assails you?. Who are the Egyptians that you see today? Let it be known to you, that THE LORD would leave no stone un-turned in avenging your case! Just as the blood of the lamb on their door posts is the tool that spared their lives, same could be said today of the life in HIS blood which speaks over our souls (intercession) and provides us with covering as well. BUT! we must trust and partner with HIM to rid us of all leaven (sin/unrighteousness/ungodliness/shortfalls). HIS standard remains HIS standard and cannot be lowered for anything. HE warned (v.15) that whoever eats leavened bread for the allotted period shall be cut off from their midst, and brethren that is what leaven does to us. It removes us from HIS covering and of-course exposes us to attacks and death. HE is able to keep us! HE is able to transform us! HE has given us the authority to overcome the wicked one and his wiles! HE loves us beyond imagination! Let us trust and surrender completely to HIM! Let us live HIS life today! Halleluia!
