Day 4 of antibodies is done! Poor Jules has had a very rough week with treatment. This round of antibodies was much more painful than the first 2 rounds. She does really well with the infusion, but the pain afterwards is horrible! Julia has pain that lasts all day and night and the poor girl has barely slept all week! That means daddy hasnt really slept either. David facetimed me last night at midnight their time and she was literally groaning from how much pain she was in. She was so out of it she was mumbling her words. As I was watching her look helpless with hot packs all over her body, she was constantly trying to reach her hand out to touch my face through the phone! She kept saying I love you and I miss you. Thats when I just broke down. For a mother to see her child in so much pain and feel helpless because I cant even comfort her. My heart was aching for her so bad that I could barely breathe. We cant wait for tomorrow to be over so she can be done with this excruciatingly painful treatment! They get to finally come home on Saturday! Pray that Julia doesnt have bad residual pain the next couple days. And please continue to pray for our amazing warrior friends Parker and Mae to have clear scans and for Kylie to be able to get her treatment soon and that it works!
