Day 4 of songs the mean something to me. My mum went to the Royal College Of Music as a cellist and pianist, and is a music teacher of 40 years standing. When I was a kid, so Im told, I could not stop, and would not stop, singing and whistling the bit that comes in at 1:18 on this recording. That was my first earworm. I love classical music, although Im not especially rigorous about what Im listening to Ive got a huge fondness for Sibelius, Rachmaninov and others. I remember listening to this piece a lot at my mums school the junior Royal Ballet, White Lodge in Richmond Park too.
