Day 4 of the Artist Challenge of posting 3 images a day of past work or projects for 5 days. My nominated artist for Day 3 to do the Artist Challenge is Teri Dryden. Ive always loved Teris work and would like to see her earlier work and her artistic progression. The following artworks are experiments that are outside the box for me. The bike parts assemblage was done for the SRAM pART Project fundraiser a few years ago. Uhp-streem is the first of a series of collaged bottle caps and lids that I started in 2010 but too many projects since then have prevented me from continuing the exploration (I hope to start it up again this year). Merry Go-Round started off as a painting using found materials like bubble wrap, styrofoam cups, plastic containers, etc. to create marks but it didnt feel complete to me so I had to collage it (another series I hope to develop soon).
