Day 41: Taes Road 2 Recovery! We lift our hands in total praise to You God! Seeing the collage of pictures of Dr. Gerald K. Butler journey is a testament that God is sovereign! Some may have thought it wasnt as serious as we shared his status, others may have thought it was over but we knew by faith that God was going to bring him through. We had many sleepless nights, and so much uncertainty. What kept us focused was knowing that God had the last say so. I can remember sitting in ICU and family after family had to make the decision to pull the plug. Our hearts would drop and every time there was a code blue we would try to ignore it! When I say we wouldnt wish this on our worst enemy is an under statement. We are so grateful to God for trusting us with such a powerful testimony! It was your prayers and Gods grace that gave us the strength to endure. We can not say thank you enough to each and everyone who whispered a prayer and is still whispering a prayer. May God grant you your hearts desire for standing in the gap for us. I text Tae last night at 11:15 and he didnt text me back until after 3 this morning. So you know he pulled another all nighter. He said he was looking at comedy central and was about to get some rest! 😂 Shumonica Brinson said his day as been filled with visitors galore. His roomate, neighbor, friends from Mercer, my daughters Loving Love and Margo GoGo T surprised him today driving 13 hours from PA. and Uncle Eugene Butler hung out with him today. My sister said he has been clowing since they got there. I guess the party tonight is in suite 230! Lol. We bless God for those who have traveled near and far to see our miracle.
