Day 41 of #walkingborneo - Mount Kinabalu Nomadic Lion flying high up in the clouds. A proud moment as we raised the Nomadic Lion banner up high on top of Mount Kinabalu, South East Asias tallest peak. 4095m We felt very blessed with this opportunity to climb such a mighty mountain, a big thank you to Sabah tourism SABAH, Malaysian Borneo for sponsoring our climb. We started out from the accommodation at 2:30am with a distinct lack of proper equipment but a lot of excitement and determination.We both really enjoyed the climb, even though it was lightly raining and we only had one torch between us. When we reached the top we were both freezing cold as we were distinctly lacking in warm clothing but we braved the cold for more than 1 hour to enjoy the moment and take a few pictures. It was an amazing feeling to sit up amongst the clouds watching the mist roll by. Its defiantly one of the more memorable mountains we have climbed.
