Day 43, Monday, November 17th. Ask the LORD your God for a sign, whether in the deepest depths or in the highest heights. Isaiah 7:11 Happy Birthday to many of our relatives! Nathan Carroll celebrated his 14th birthday on the 13th. Today is Teresa Gerlich Carroll and Stephanie Duda! We love you all and are thankful for the blessing of your life! Dad has had 3 good days in a row! He is perky and feisty! He does get tired, but hes definitely having more up moments! So THANKFUL! Dad has been battling pain in his right shoulder. We got news today that he may have a torn rotator cuff. They did an x-ray and it was not dislocated. They will have therapy done on it for the moment ~ no surgery for now. We are waiting for results from a culture done on his lungs. When that comes in, he will probably be released from the hospital. All along this journey weve felt that God has revealed answers and signs for us. We feel Gods presence and know He is with us as we try to figure out whats best for Dad. We are praying we are making right decisions on so many things that can have such a huge impact on Dads life. Please continue to pray for strength, the clearing of pneumonia, good spirits, continued progress, healing of wounds and shoulder pain, decision making for the family, and contentment that we have made the right decisions!
