Day 48: I left Edinburgh... Well I say I left Edinburgh... I managed to do so after walking around the outskirts of it for 15miles! Even passing Edinburgh airport and walking under planes coming in to land. Satnav once again made a dumdum and told me there was a route to take where the was the Scottish army headquarters... How do I keep on managing to stumble across these places?? Asked for directions. What was I told? Walk around the base and resume normal route! Ok. Got lost in the last mile but managed to make it to The Forth road bridge. I walked a further 4miles to make it a full 30 and stopped in a field next to a surface coal mine! :D
