Day 493. PROMISE. We have agonized over this decision, at the end of this month of March, we will not be able to renew our lease. Relocating to Off The Bay has been the most rewarding thing I have done in 25 years of business. Spoon Full Of Hope is the best thing I have ever done!!! I was told this morning, When we do what God wants, he blesses it. I feel I have the most blessings with the community kitchen, this experience has filled my heart with priceless memories. We are trying every avenue to figure out how to continue with Spoon Full Of Hope. Perhaps if we can get local churches, corporations, non profits to sponsor and adopt the operating costs we can continue. I am more then willing and would be very happy to stay and create, cook and serve the community. We are OPEN to ANY suggestions!!! Now onto the next hurdle. I posted a few weeks back that we are rebuilding back on our property. We are still focusing on the beachfront rebuild. Our goal is to be back home!!! If ANYONE has the POWER to persuade the SANDY LOAN process to hurry up and send the funding that would be simply AMAZING. I honestly feel like a continuous loop in a spin cycle....and I dont like it. Just send the funding so we can continue with our process of rebuilding. Enough of the dangling of the carrot..send the money. Please!!!! I am a fighter and will continue to fight to get back into business on the bay. I promise!!! Gigi Dorr
