Day 5/30 Yesterday was a wonderful day celebrating my 40th with my little family, so happy to be our precious 4 still! Lana is managing the daily anaesthetics well and were slowly working out how much extra sleep she needs in the day to be ensure shes not a grumpy diva... Since taking the steroids the sickness has stopped which is great for Lana - in the short term. Shes put on weight for the first time since October and this is the longest shes not been sick since November!!! Whoohoo. Were really pleased that she has been asking for dank which means drink and swallowing think fluids such as smoothies and shakes... This wasnt happening before we arrived in the US. She even asked for a narnar today and took a tiny bite. Andrew Graeme Bailey and I are hoping so, so much that this is the start of good things as she hates being attached to the feeding machine 5 x a day. Tomorrow we have our first physiotherapy session, lets get Lana walking. Right now were not thinking too much about the future and the side effects, were just enjoying the now. 😃 Xx
