Day 5...Finally some good news this morning. He does not have TB or anything serious, but non the less, he has an infection. Not sure how or what got in his lungs to cause such a mess, but given the Behcets, it is very plausible that his immune system could not fight it....and thankfully, its not contagious!!!! The second CT showed improvement on the left side mass but an increase on the right side mass. He is clinically stable and they plan to discharge him today with prescription medication. He has to follow up with the infectious disease dr next week, since they are still running cultures. But again...he gets to come home today!!! Thank GOD and thank you for all of your kind words and support...
