Day 5: Join us in prayer to today for God to grow in us hearts filled with compassion for those who have never heard the good news that Jesus saves. In Matthew 9:36 we are told that Jesus looks out upon the crowds of people and the text tells us that he was filled with compassion because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Pray that God would give us the compassion to enter into the lives of those in our city who need to hear about the grace of God in Jesus Christ and the courage to share that news with them.
