Day 5 Sunday Sep 28 Yea I have him home. Thank you all for all the prayers love and good thoughts. He still has the drain attached. We will find out tomorrow when that may come out. Now I will tell you the fears I had. Last year at this time his brother LB was in the hospital. LB had a gallstone stuck in a bile duct. Because of his health and age surgery was not an option. LB past away in Oct of 2013. His developed C diff infection and his body went sepsis. When one of the surgery nurses came in and spent some time with us I told the Dr said the gall bladder was nasty and almost dead. I told her I didnt know what almost dead meant. She said it was very close to gangerous and from there the body can become sepsis. For those of you out there that think yes it hurts but Ill be alright. DONT!!!. Go to the dr when you become ill. It is so not worth it to have to suffer later. Don is on the mend now. My fears were quietened by Gods blessings and your prayers messages and calls. We are so grateful. We love each of you and can never thank you enough for the love you have shown us. Gotta go. He just opened the back door. I think hes headed out to the okra patch.
