Day 5 activities are over. Mt. Vernon and Arlington National Cemetery tours. At Mt. Vernon we saw the mansion, outbuildings, wharf, pioneer farm, gardens, museum, and education center. Like several other places in DC, pictures were not allowed inside the house. And the boat ride was fantastic. Of course, at Arlington cemetery, we saw the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier, Kennedy family grave site, and the outside of the Arlington House which was closed by time we got to it. Outstanding views of the city from the cemetery hilltop.
